Spleef

Spleef is a game played over a large pit that either drops to a relative safety, or in death spleef, bedrock and/or lava. The aim of the game is to dig up the thin layer of dirt(or sometimes wool) below the opponent sending him falling to the bottom of the pit, and just because everyone is so depressingly sadistically evil, usually their dooms. The game is often played with a 'Diamond Shovel' to speed up the game since its often hard to take sombody by surprise if you take an hour to dig up the ground beneath them.

Rules

The rules of spleef are as followed-

  • You may not jump randomly to avoid being caught unaware.
  • An exeption to the rule above, you may vault large cracks in the arena floor.
  • All players must make lame war cries and mock other players for no apparent reason.
  • At no point in the game may you place blocks, unless it is required in order do cross a large, impassable gap.

Versions Of Spleef

Normal Spleef

This is the normal version of Spleef. Played with two or more players on a dirt surface, with space below the one layer dirt surface, each of the players tries to knock the other players down into a hole using their shovels.

Death Spleef

Death Spleef is the same as the normal version of Spleef, but this type of spleef is usualy played at extreme hights or above lava as to make the game more intense, and so the losing players dies when he/she loses.

Snow Spleef

Snow Spleef is also just like the normal version of Spleef, except this is played with snow blocks instead of dirt so as the game will be faster and better paced.

Inverted Spleef

Inverted Spleef is an interesting type of Spleef. The way the board is layed out is completely the same as all the other types. One layer of dirt above and space below that layer. But, as the name implies, this is different. Two or more players stand under the dirt surface, and dig, while other shove-less players run around on the top and try not to fall in.
